I am joined this week by Dr. Quinn Henoch as we dive into the nuance and considerations of how, why and when to stretch. We talk about some contraindications for doing so and also his thoughts on effective warm-ups before exercise. Quinn also chats with me about ways to recover from injuries to still see progress even if one is unable to push with the same intensity as before. A brief message following my post on our Facebook page yesterday. We resume regular programming tomorrow.

Stuart Aitken is arguably my favorite podcasting host. He oversees the Lift The Bar podcast which is formatted for the personal trainer industry. I couldn't wait to bring him on the show so he could talk a bit more about how he got into the industry and share some of what we've learned since we've been in the podcasting arena talking to some of the finest minds in the industry. To learn more about Stuart, you can follow him on Facebook at www.facebook.com/stuart.aitken.35 and on Instagram at www.instagram.com/stuartaitken_ To learn more about your host, check out www.jasonleenaarts.com and www.revfittherapy.com You can also like our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/revolutionaryou Download, subscribe, share with your friends and please take a moment to leave us an iTunes review.

After her great first episode with me (#72), Kelly Coffey of Strong Coffey Personal Training returns again and we talk about some stumbling blocks that many on their diet journey have to overcome. As the title suggests, we tackle diet resentment, sabotage from ourselves and our loved ones, plus her thoughts on when to moderate food choices and when to choose otherwise. To get insight on her free course, check out www.bit.ly/rightwithfood and to learn more about her work visit www.strongcoffey.com To learn more about your host, check out www.jasonleenaarts.com and www.revfittherapy.com You can also like our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/revolutionaryou Download, subscribe, share with your friends and please take a moment to leave us an iTunes review.

After a lengthy delay on my end that I will be rectifying, I have the pleasure of welcoming back Dr. Yoni Freedhoff to the show. In this episode, we talk about many of the changes we've seen in the diet industry since our last conversation and Dr. Yoni tackles some listener sourced questions as well. As always, Yoni has realistic and highly practical advice for those navigating their weight loss journey. To learn more about his work, I highly recommend his book "The Diet Fix" and his website www.weightmatters.ca When you visit his site, you can also type in the search bar "diet score" to see the article he references in the episode. I have the great honor of sharing time with internationally celebrated dietitian, Dr. Susan Kleiner. This is the first in a two-part conversation discussing advancements in the nutrition industry which have led to her newest edition of her book "Power Eating" called "The New Power Eating." In this episode we talk about her journey into the industry and some of what has changed since her last revision of "Power Eating" including her thoughts on the ketogenic diet for performance. Our second episode together will be released in September as the launch of "The New Power Eating" gets closer, so stay tuned for that as it will have more of a focus on how recent studies are affecting what females should consider for their dietary considerations. To learn more about Dr. Sue's work, check out www.drskleiner.com and to pre-order "The New Power Eating" visit www.humankinetics.com/products/all-products/New-Power-Eating-The To learn more about your host, visit www.jasonleenaarts.com and www.revfittherapy.com You can also like our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/revolutionaryou Download, subscribe, share with your friends and please take a moment to leave us an iTunes review.
